Hi everyone

We're Chris (71 - God, getting on or what!!) and Jeanne (64) and getting older disgracefully we hope!!

And first off a gripe. One more beef from Flickr and we’re out of here. It’s a complete joke, despite the fact that we have a Pro account, that we have to have a blackout because they don’t reckon a few pictures meet the required ‘safety level’. Our shots are very ‘gentle’, in our view at least, and what do we find all over the site, what we can only describe as porn on safe settings!! Anyway we’re now considering other options but I can see us just having fully safe shots and we’ll post the more ‘intimate’ elsewhere.

Of interest perhaps to some of J’s followers, she looking to move on some of the ‘outfits’ featured in our various shoots. We’ll ‘note’ the lead picture in each group once we get up and running and check out her account on eBay jfromwinchesterblue1253 – currently all the various books we’ve bought for inspiration over the years are listed.

Everything we post is our own effort and we don’t get why anyone would post other people’s work. And why all the faceless shots - are you ashamed of what you’re doing and if so why are you doing it? All the photos we post are ‘approved’ by J and are on public display. We try to come up with pin up/risqué shots that are teasing, sexy and pleasing on the eye in a ‘natural’ rather than a studio setting. Thinking of new ideas is becoming a bit of a challenge though but hey it’s great trying out things and that’s the key, having a fun time together.

Each year we make up our own calendar that hangs in the view of any visitor to our place. Friends and neighbours really do know what we’re like and the kids have long since given up worrying about what we get up to - even 3 year old granddaughter seems to delight in pointing at the calendar and shouting out ‘Nanny’!!

We’re pretty broad minded but some of the stuff we see posted is crude, gross and utterly tasteless and we ask ourselves why, why, why? Whatever you might think, for us it’s an association thing so if we spot anything in your posts or faves that we see as inappropriate it will result in you being blocked. This also applies to the brain dead who think that leaving crude comments on one of our pictures is acceptable – it doesn’t shock anymore, if that was the intention, and it just makes us think of you as socially inept with not a clue about how women think and surprise, surprise, what J thinks is very important to me. And the same ‘rule’ applies to Groups. Please don’t waste your time asking us to join or post pictures in your Group if it allows lewdity in any form or otherwise denigrates women.

I’m very much an amateur with the camera and I’ll unashamedly admit that I look to others for inspiration. If I fav one of your pictures please take that as a compliment even if I don’t specifically comment because one of my main reasons for doing so, pleasing aesthetics aside, is to plagiarise the outfit, the ‘prop’, the outlook, the pose or whatever so that I can give it a go with Jeanne at some point. There are some technically very gifted 'studio' and amateur photographers posting on here that we can all pick up ideas from (my congratulations go out to them) but ‘technical’ perfection is not really what it’s about for the majority of us ‘snappers’ – thinking a bit about what you’re doing and trying to be a bit creative, however, is not beyond anyone’s capability with a bit of effort and that’s where the fun comes in.

We’ve met up with a lovely couple through this site and we’re happy to chat with and possibly meet up with other like minded people sharing similar photographic interests but only with those that actually enjoy and see the fun side of taking their own pictures – your smiling faces delightfully give you away!!

And finally a big thank you to those that make such nice comments on our pictures (well mostly anyway!!) and for the effusive testimonials. Jeanne, typical of many of you ladies out there, doesn’t see how lovely she is (inside and out I’m so pleased to say, lucky, lucky me) and reading out some of what’s said sees her squirm a little with embarrassment in the nicest possible way.
