Ich lebe in Berlin. Beruflich hantiere ich eher unkreativ mit Zahlen.

Meine Bilder entstehen meist nebenbei auf Reisen, im Urlaub. Ich mag es mit der Kamera schöne Dinge und schöne Orte einzufangen. Mir geht es nicht um das perfekte Bild. Es gibt so viele in Aufbau, Farbe, Schärfe etc. perfekte Bilder. Ich schaue sie auch gern an und habe höchste Achtung vor dem Fotografen. Aber das ist nicht mein Ziel. Ich bin nie mit großer Ausrüstung unterwegs. In meiner Tasche steckt aktuell eine kleine Olympus OMD E-10 Mark III, davor war es die Pen E-PL3 und nur ein kleines Objektiv. Wenn ich fotografiere halte ich Momente fest, nehme Erinnerungen mit. Dabei sind es oft die ganz kleinen und auf den ersten Blick so unscheinbaren Motive, das Licht das sich in zarten Blüten fängt, die herbe Schönheit von nicht herausgeputzten Orten, achtlos liegengelassene Dinge. Es gibt so unendlich viele und immer wieder faszinierende Möglichkeiten. 1 Motiv 1000 Sichtweisen.

Meine Bilder sollen Geschichten erzählen und halten den Augenblick fest. Und wenn es mir gelingt die eine oder andere Emotion zu transportieren und Lust auf eine Reise zu machen, dann habe ich für mich alles richtig gemacht.

Flickr begleitet mich schon viele Jahre. Nachdem ich nun einige Zeit kein Mitglied war, habe ich mich entschlossen 2022 meinen Account neu aufzusetzen. Da ich Flickr viel für Inspiration nutze, möchte ich auch etwas zurückgeben und dich mitnehmen auf meine Reisen.

I live in Berlin. Professionally, I am rather uncreative with numbers.

My pictures are mostly taken on the side while travelling, on holiday. I like to capture beautiful things and beautiful places with my camera. I'm not interested in the perfect picture. There are so many pictures that are perfect in composition, colour, sharpness etc.. I also like to look at them and have the highest respect for the photographer. But that is not my goal. I never travel with big equipment. In my bag is currently a small Olympus OMD E-10 Mark III, before that it was the Pen E-PL3 and only a small lens. When I take photographs, I capture moments, take memories with me. Often it is the very small and at first glance so inconspicuous motifs, the light that catches in delicate blossoms, the austere beauty of undecorated places, carelessly left things. There are so many infinite and always fascinating possibilities. 1 motif 1000 ways of seeing.

My pictures are meant to tell stories and capture the moment. And if I succeed in conveying one or the other emotion and make you want to travel, then I have done everything right.

Flickr has been with me for many years. After not being a member for some time, I have decided to relaunch my account in 2022. Since I use Flickr a lot for inspiration, I would like to give something back and take you with me on my travels.
