I shot my first photo when I was, oh, ten or so, with a Canon AE1, and have remained strictly amateur ever since. I have a mediocre digital camera and a nice hand-me-down SLR. Over the past year, I've been transitioning into using the latter for concert photos (I write music reviews for indie website Caught in the Carousel), but still use the digital for everyday life.
