Dr Elizabeth Kate Switaj's photographs have appeared in GUD, qarrtsiluni, and The Río Grande Review, as well as on the covers of The Nassau Review, Thoughtsmith, and Boxcar Poetry's 2006 anthology. Her photograph "Recycling in Zhengzhou" won Folded Word's Freight: What Are You Carrying? competition.
