This Flickr site will include images of over 11,000 specimens in the minerals collection housed at UBC's Pacific Museum of Earth (PME).

Located in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of British Columbia, we maintain a small but splendid exhibition gallery (including several full size dinosaur skeletons), programming for public and schools, and online resources covering geology, atmospheric science, oceanography, environmental sciences, geological engineering, and planetary science. Our goal is to engage, excite, and educate students, faculty, staff and the public (youths, families and teachers) about the Earth and topics of environmental, economic, and societal importance.
