Hi. My name's Paul and I live in Trumpington in the UK; it's a village in which one of the Canterbury Tales is set though in recent years it's been enveloped by the city of Cambridge as the latter has expanded year on year. I work for the University of Cambridge and spend much of my holiday working voluntarily for Oak Hall, a group that organises Christian holidays.

It's probably a bit of a heresy to say this on Flickr, but my real love at the moment is playing with video rather than still photography. That said, they're both visual activities and I'm sure learning more about framing photos better will also help me take better videos.

I'm not really very good but I'm keen to become better so if you can see some good ways of improving my pictures please tell me!
