I was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I came out West when I was 20. I've been on one adventure or another ever since. I get big ideas and launch crazy projects and I fall on my face a lot and it hurts but I keep doing it. I think I'm a little crazy. It has its advantages.

I'm currently a globe-trotting poi artist and fire-spinner, thanks to the poi photos and poi videos I post on my website. This has allowed me to travel all over the world, performing and teaching workshops. Until recently it's

been difficult, financially, and I had to make a lot of sacrifices and take a lot of risks. Things finally seem to be falling into place.

I'm also very interested in communication, culture, the internet, and the potential of human consciousness. I'll be using this blog to share

my adventures as I travel the world, playing poi, meeting interesting people, studying with different teachers, taking pictures, making

videos, and searching for signs of intelligent life.
