Hi! My name is Jonathan and I have been dabbling in digital photography since early 2004 when I bought my first digital camera: a Canon PowerShot A70 3 MP point and shoot. After three years of shooting with the A70, I was beginning to notice its weaknesses and started looking at getting an upgrade. After some debate, I decided to take the plunge and get a dSLR. I have not looked back.

I joined Flickr about the same time, seeing it as a good method for sharing pictures with family and friends. Since buying my dSLR and being on Flickr, I have learned a tremendous amount about photography. I still have a lot to learn, though.

I like to take pictures of everything and anything. I like to take a lot of pictures with the hope that some of them will turn out good. I tend to dump all my pictures on here for sharing (and as a backup), so I apologize if you have to wade through a lot of photos when looking at my stream. I try to tag and sort my photos in a sane manner, so you may find that useful.
