My photography attempts come under 2 distinct types: The first is where I take a pile of pictures for my own record and store them online as back-up while away from home, and the second is where a photo actually looks good. These last few years have led to a better result in my attempts to legitimately capture what I feel I am looking at.

My first camera was Christmas 1990, a Kodak point n shoot thing, I still have those films somewhere. Next up 2001, I greatly enjoyed getting my hands on a Canon Powershot Pro 70 from my employer, and I am pretty sure it had a 2MB CF card in it! (or at least onboard storage of that size) and I'd say it held about 20 photos of the highest quality....Which for the record had the quality of a scalloped potato...

Next in 2003 came a cheap Dolphin Camera which we will soon rather forget, but it was handy having it my pocket easily enough. Next in 2007, was my little Canon Ixus70, a fantastic camera, once again for its ease of carrying about, this camera traveled to Japan, England, in my pocket while working at the snow, boat trips, underwater in its case, everywhere, and all flights in between during my 'wow-I'm-on-an-overseas-flight' stage..

Next in 2008, a friends Canon EOS 400D became available, which was a game changer. Different lenses, things to attach here and there, very exciting indeed. This camera also did England however I chose not to take it on my first trip to Japan which was a major mistake as we saw awesome things everywhere and the little Ixus just didn't capture it how I wanted...

Lastly, during Japan trip 2014, I used my friends Canon EOS 70D, and it was settled, It filled the gaps that were there with the usability of the 400D, and of course was shinier, I purchased my own at the beginning of 2015 and it has been my mainstay camera now since then, except for when it broke, but Canon had recalled it and repairs were free, huzzah for corresponding serial numbers huzzah!!

Lens Canon 50mm, Canon 18-135mm, Sigma 10-18mm, Canon 70-300mm.

And thats the story of the many cameras... I will add that I enjoyed using a Nikon something or other in 2013, and may just one day expand my collection to include the Nikons. For the camera fanatics, If you ever go to Japan, the big electronics department stores let you touch, play with and use every model camera of all brands and all prices! Those top of the line DSLRs, wow. One day....
