Since I have so many photos in so many albums, if you are interested in exploring my photography, I suggest you start top-down from my Collections.

In general, I do NOT want faves without comments. If it is good enough to be one of your favourite photographs, then I would like to know why. In anticipation, thank you for indulging my idiosyncratic wishes.

I think one of the best and worst things about Flickr is the comments section associated with photos.

Comments with content makes Flickr a much more interesting community. I like to read other people's thoughts and share my thoughts triggered by my friends' photos, including links to my own photos that in some way relate to them. If you do not like my comments, feel free to delete them, send me Flickr mail telling me to change my ways, or even ban me so I can't comment on your photos.

BUT, I hate those big, garish "awards" or "invitations" as a comment or with a comment. I find them annoying in the comment section of other people's photos. I like to read what people think, rather than look at those "things".

Therefore, I have blocked all images from ec.yimg.com where all those "awards" or "invitations" come from, which means they do not appear on any page I look at.

But I still don't want those hideous things in the comments stream attached to my photos. I will delete all comments containing an "award" or "invitation" . The one exception is a simple invitation that includes a "submit" button, which makes it easy for me to add the photo to a group without joining the group.
