I had a digital compact camera for a few years, but the lack of control and awful shutter lag meant I didn't really use it much.

So, I treated myself to an EOS 400D for Christmas 2006 and started that steep, steep climb up the learning curve.

I hope you like some of my photos on here, and please comment on them truthfully - it's the only way I'll learn how to develop :)

2020 Update. With a growing interest in Rugby photography, in 2010 I made the jump to the EOS 7D and some 'L glass' and did quite a lot. Recently I have not done much, but am going to restart with some wildlife to try and relight my interest.
