They call me "The Renaissance Man" cause I can do it all.
I jumped back into photography about September 2010. I use to do some picture taking back in my youth during the 70's, but it had slipped away. So now I'm back....and loving it.
I enjoy fly-fishing, like to cook, enjoy fine wines, music, gardening, bicycle riding. When it comes to music I am still a 60s-70s rocker and a big blues kind of guy at heart.
My photography varies however outdoor photography is what I lean toward. It provides opportunity for me to “get out and go”, travel, research local history, and explore. I like the straight forward photographic image but equally like the artistic software enhanced images. I have always enjoyed art and my photography gives me a base to go either direction.

A couple of years after I took up photography I knew I needed to do something beyond just taking photos that get buried on my hard drive. That got me to looking into joining our local camera club. That's where I discovered a link to Paul's Flickr page. I was immediately inspired by both the variety and the quality of his work. He has even inspired me to take some of my photos in more of an artistic direction. I don't know if I would have ever come up with that on my own. Anyhow, I'd like to thank Paul for the inspiration in the past, current, and future.
