I'm a self-taught hobby photographer. My first kit was circa '79 - a Kodak instamatic X-15f with the flash cube, In 2004 I bought my first digital camera, an Olympus 5.0 megapixel. My interest for photography grew while birding and experimenting with digiscopng for ID purposes. In the winter of 2008, I purchased my Canon Rebel XTI. My favorite type of phototgraphy is nature photography. I also enjoy capturing sports and people. In the spring of 2018, I moved to SW Alaska after living in Minneapolis for 20 years.
