I love photography in many styles, and am still trying to find out mine. By posting my captures here, I try to bring some system in my chaos of taking, editing and managing pictures as well as to improve my techniques and train my photographic eye. The ultimate goal is to live up Ansel Adams' credo "Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop".

I have been using Nikon gear since I was five years old, and really fell in love with photography after my dad introduced me to his old, rangefinder Nikon F. I currently shoot with a Nikon D200 in combination with the Nikkor 28-70mm f/2.8, Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. I however have a never-ending photography wish-list with a digital Leica rangefinder camera and an accompanying noctilux on top.

Henri Cartier Bresson and Ansel Adams are my absolute idols, yet I meet new ones here on flickr every day.

What I especially love about photography is that you start seeing the beauty of the world you live in, which is often hidden in the details.
