I love nature. Exploring the beautiful places that I'm fortunate enough to be surrounded by is my passion. I love to camp and hike because for me those are the best ways to experience what nature has to offer.

Taking pictures is an extension of that love. It allows me to capture moments that amaze me, puzzle me, and inspire me, so that I can reflect on them whenever I choose, and share with others a small piece of the wonder of these places.

My favorite landscapes are deserts and mountains. Luckily Utah, and its surrounding states have plenty of both to choose from. My favorite subjects for pictures are arches, slot canyons, animals, rock art and ruins, flowers, waterfalls, and lakes. A beautiful, cloudy sky can make any picture interesting.

My hope is to encourage people to stay in touch with the natural world. If enough people care about the preservation and protection of our open spaces, we are less likely to lose them to ever encroaching development.
