OK, so I can no longer claim to be a total beginner, but I am still a novice. My main camera is an Olympus 830 point and shoot, and I just acquired a Holga, which I'm very excited by. I am untutored and I definitely have a lo-fi sensibility. Someday I would like to take a course or something, but I think to really learn photography in any academic or professional-leaning way, I would have to start using photography equipment that I have no access to or current interest in. I may take some art classes instead.

I work at Lesley University. Through my employee benefits, I am back in school and studying to be a teacher. I'm really enjoying school. That means that I will take long breaks from posting photos here, but I am not gone!
