As someone who grew up in China, I was immediately impressed by how quintessential Chinese Andy's photos are. His photos are not just beautiful, but more importantly, they are poetic. Although rendering landscapes in a beautiful way has become somewhat commonplace nowadays in photography, rare is the talent to capture the essence of landscape beauty and infuse it with emotional appeal. Andy's photos are very much like a photographic interpretation of ancient Chinese poems. He does it by combining great composition with impeccable use of natural light, and a tireless pursuit of perfection. When he ventures outside of landscape photography, he produces equally delightful and creative work. I look forward to many inspiring photos from him in the future.
