I am fortunate that my work and play merge as I get to create calligraphic artwork for happy people at special moments in their lives.

Walking a mindfully conscious path has opened many wonderful opportunities on this journey called life. One came when I received a notice from my hospice volunteer coordinator about a talk on the Buddhist approach to dying at the Maezumi Institute. Looking up their web site, I discovered an imminent trip to visit Buddhist temples in Japan. I quickly signed up and had a journey of a lifetime, followed by another similar trip to China the following year. One day, I may even finish processing and posting the photos. In the meantime, many wonderful doors keep opening on my journey.
