I am a photography enthusiast and became deeply interested in 2008 with the purchase of my first camera. I have put my camera down for some time, but now I have picked it up again. I discovered how much I missed creating my art. I am a little rusty but that's ok it gets better with time. It is now 2024 and am now getting back into posting more, now I have two more bodies, my D3300 and my D800 in addition to my D40x that was my original work horse. I have been in this game for 16 years now and am amazed at how much I have improved over the years. I now like helping other newbie photographer understand what they are doing, as I once didn't know what the hell I was doing. I dream of travelling to other places looking for other things to photograph in this ever changing world of ours. I look to other people's work, looking for inspiration and there is never any shortage of that. So rock on my fellow flickr friends!

When I was about five years old I remember that my mother would take me from Rohnert Park, CA to visit my aunt and uncle who lived in the Mission District. We would ride Golden Gate Transit and then take BART to 24th st. I enjoyed coming to the city very much because it reminded me in a way the much larger cities like NYC.
Ten years ago if you has asked me if I would ever be into photography, I would've laughed in your face and thought you were crazy. Now I think of nothing else but. Everyday I wonder how I can improve my photography as most people are who take photos. I'm always looking for new subject but always find myself returning to the same subject with a new perspective in mind. Most of my photo-taking occurs in San Francisco. This is my playground. I have been really captivated by street photography. I love the all the different subjects out there just waiting to be discovered each photowalk I take.
I usually take photos alone or go with a friend who loves photography just as much as I do. I like to read photography about be it in a blog, magazine, a book to improve my technique or to catch up on what is going on in the industry.
I like to experiment with my photography. Right now I am having a lot of fun taking pictures with the camera apps on my smartphone and seeing what comes out. My favorite effect is is lomo.
I am always trying to see where my photography will take me next.
