There is a tendency for many of us to analyze a photograph. We say why we like something and why we don't. We then break the photograph down to it's components and analyze it further. We analyze it until we convince ourselves one way or another and still feel puzzled as to if we really like it in the first place. This girl's images render such analysis academic. I look at her images and I simply like them. They are beautiful and they are interesting. They make me think of the time when I first picked up a camera and shoot for the pure joy of shooting. Her images are a reminder of why we should photograph and that the love of a medium is the most important aspect of creating a truly great photo.
