Just starting out in the world of DSLR with my new Nikon d3100 which I purchased at the end of May 2011 along with the 18-55mm kit lens. It will be an exciting adventure as I learn my way around from scratch. I also 'snap' away to my hearts content using my HTC Wildfire.

While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. ~Dorothea Lange
