I'm a stay at home mom to a boy who never stops and rarely sleeps. He definitely keeps me on my toes. I live with my husband, my son and two cats. In a past life I worked at a toy store and I have a degree in art therapy.

I've been sewing for years but I'm relatively new to quilting. I love doing collage and I love sewing and it just recently clicked for me. Oh! Quilting is collage with fabric! I'm really enjoying trying new techniques, challenging myself. Paper piecing is one of my favourites. I've also been dabbling in fabric design on Spoonflower.

I love bright saturated colours.I tend to gravitate towards blues, purples and pinks. I can't imagine having beige walls. I like whimsical fabrics or bold prints. Some of my favourite designers include Lizzy House, Kate Spain, Anna Maria Horner and Tula Pink. I love solids. I'm really liking polkadots and stripes lately.
