I just love making cakes and pastries and eating them of course. It makes me really happy to bake and decorate for family and friends.

I was a full-time cake designer/baker for about 10 years and then I took a hiatus. Thanks to the many inspiring bakers and cake decorators here on Flickr, I got my groove back and making cakes again. Now I tell myself, "How could I have given it up years ago?"

Signing up for Flickr also opened up my eyes to how important it is to take good pictures of my work.
