For a living, I document historic sites around the United States – bridges, dams, schools, factories, cemeteries, all manners of places. Much of my work is archived in the HABS/HAER collection of the Library of Congress. In truth I'm an architect, not a photographer. I shoot principally large- and medium-format film and, recently, digital. Only a few of the photos here have anything to do with my professional work. Most were fun to make.
