pimp's work explores the relationship between acquired synesthesia and fedora ethics. With influences as diverse as Derrida and Frida Kahlo, new synergies are created from both simple and complex textures. Ever since he was a child he showed exception to the traditional understanding of the mind. What starts out as vision soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of power, leaving only a sense of decadence and the chance of a new beginning. As his temporal forms become clarified through boundaried and diverse practice, we, the viewer are left with a statement of the inaccuracies of our era. and he has a huge cock. I met Pimp at a Dave Matthew's concert in 1998. Since we didn't have flickr back then, we became pen pals. Pimp would write me lyrics to Dave songs that he loved and told me it was his dream to follow the band as a roadie. Unfortunately, his dentist recommended that he get braces immediately and not go on tour with DMB. He promised Pimp that the braces would come off within a year and then he could tour with the band. 13 years later, and that damn dentist still won't take those braces off. Pimp is determined to ride with Dave and crew, and since they are still touring, this dream may finally become a reality some day. The teeth come first, though. I still get letters frm Pimp, now in the form of flickrmails, often begging me to burn him a copy of Division Bell, as he sold his for a Dave Matthews bootleg. I need to go do that so he'll stop bothering me. Aside from his obsession with Dave Matthews and The Division Bell, Pimp is one of the most hilarious, honest, foul, and friendliest people I have met here. He's a talented, creative photographer, a wonderful father to his daughters, and sometimes I read his lengthy writings. For various reasons, mostly good, he is definitely one of my favorite people on flickr.

Slap that together with your must read descriptions and you have yourself an addictive photostream. Your images are a great insight into your life, and you hide nothing.. its amazing. I feel like I have known you for years. I just love everything about your photography, everything about your words.. and respect you totally as a person.
