I don't like people who add me as a contact without leaving any comments. They usually do it just to try to get comments on their streams without sharing with others. I usually block them especially whent they have 1000+ contacts.

About photograpy :

- I'm a beginner in photography (since late 2008), interested in macro photo and creative shots. Flickr is a good way to learn a lot from others.

- I like simple things and people so I like simple photos. Image processing is my job (in a very different context than art and photography) but I prefer simple images.

  

About me :

- I'm 30

- I don't need to possess a lot to be happy. I don't need to be rich! I try to have a very simple way of life respectful of nature. I love ecology and fight against pollution : specially against cars in cities. I hate 4x4 wheel drive and SUV. I feel very pessimistic about global warming and about the future of the Earth :-(

- I'm not very talkative and a bit antisocial and completely addicted to the Internet !

- Very openminded! (At least I try)

 

My hobbies (other than photography)

- I like climbing and hiking in nature (and outdoor sports).

- I make promotion for free and open source softwares. So I use Gimp (instead Photoshop) Open Office (instead Microsoft Office) and Ubuntu under Linux instead Windows. And I'm very satisfied with all of them (Almost zero crash).

- Pentax K-m with a focusing screen with stigmometer (for easy manual focus)

 

- Pentax 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens *** classical and suitable in everyday situation ***

-Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 lens : my new everyday lens

- SMC Pentax-M f/2 50mm *** a very sharp lens ***

- SMC Pentax-M f/2.8 35mm *** I rarely use it :-( ***

- SMC Pentax-M f/2.8 100mm *** quite sharp, beautiful bokeh and very good at macro shots ***

- Sigma 55-200mm f/4-5.6 *** useful in everyday situation ***

- Raynox DCR-250 macro lens *** a bit strong (+8D), but the quality is really excellent***

- +2D +4D macro lenses (quite quality but really useful anyway)

 

- UV + Polarising filters

 

- I still have my bridge camera : Panasonic DMC-FZ8. I'm satisifed with it! I usually bring it in "dangerous situations"
