August 2008, I arrived in Sydney to join and marry Stewart, the Australian funny guy I met in Belgium 17 months earlier.

It is the biggest moment of my life.

A new life, new language, new people, new culture, new food…

It took me 3 years to feel ready to continue the project I was close to begin in Belgium.

During my 3 years of adaptation and English learning, my project has evolved and is inspired by the new elements that surround me with new forms and colours.

Since some years I was especially working on faces with big eyes and mouths, as they are part of our expression, emotions & communication.

Different characters are born from this evolution. They have one eye. This eye is the symbol of the open door on the imagination. It is maybe, also, reflecting a part of myself as one of my eyes is more than lazy.

My characters express love, friendship, sharing, naivety….

Feeling sometimes the need to change technique, I do some handmade craft with felt or polymer clay and also some beading.
