Call me Pier! I was born in 1969 between the flatland and the hills of Emilia region in northern Italy. I have a PhD in Veterinary Science from University of Turin and a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. I'm married with Alessandra and we have a fantastic child called Liang. He's the boy you see in most of my photos! I really love photography I think it is the best way to remember things that will never be the same as they were in that exact moment. My hobbies and interests are: travelling, anthropology, photography, American literature and Jazz music.
