Hello,

The first camera I can recall owning was a Brownie 127, and I've owned an assortment of makes, including Balda, Pentax, Zenith, eventually settling on Canon.

Until going digital I'd tended to take a camera out with me AND take a few shots, whereas I'm now making an effort to take a camera out with the express intention TO take some shots. In the "film days" I always wanted a darkroom but never got round to it, so having the "digital darkroom" called Photoshop adds an extra dimension.

I love looking at the massive variety of pictures on Flickr, some times for inspiration, but mainly just out of admiration. I'm currently on with a project to scan the many black and white negatives of British Railways that I took in the 1960s.

Me? Well, I'm now officially a pensioner, but still work part-time. I've been married since 1966 (to the same lady!), and have two married children and four lovely grandchildren.

Life's not too bad, is it?

Cheers

Keith
