Joe is a native of Hackensack, New Jersey. Joe ‘s grandmother (Who never flew in her life), would take him to (LGA) La Guardia airport New York, here they would go out on the observation deck and observe the aircraft for hours. Joe’s family moved to New Mexico, settling close to Holloman AFB. It wasn’t long before Joe and his brother Steve, AKA Drsky (www.drsky.com) would spend countless hours watching the F-4 phantom II action in the skies above the New Mexico desert. In 1977 Joe’s family attended the Holloman,AFB Open house Air show. This was an opportunity to use his first camera, a Kodak 110 instamatic. this was special gift from his parents and the humble beginnings of a life long passion for photography. As Joe’s interest in aircraft photography developed his brother and sister gave him a 35mm Minolta X370 camera and lens system. He used this camera, until the advent of Today’s high quality digital systems.
