And if you look at her images, you understand why: her landscapes or 'waterscapes', her skies, take you in an other world, made of alien colors, wonderful loneliness, deep, screaming silences, boundless spaces, sometimes furrowed by metaphysical birds....and everything is always so ....elegant. for me, scarlet is one of that artists from which i feel i want to learn a lot: she inspires me...and even when she falls on this earth and take a picture of a simple, banal flower, you can find there something that has to do with her special, magical, 'touch'.

When I first came across Scarlet’s Photostream, I could only say, “WOW! How does one person have the skills to make such brilliant captures and then produce them in such a manner that they seem to jump off the screen right into your living room?” I quickly added her to my contacts so I could always see what she was posting next! At times her compositions are well toned and calming while others are filled with profuse color, fascination and excitement…..some processed with superior skill, some with such a life-like appearance that you feel as if you are in the scene yourself. To say her photos are dramatic is an understatement. I can only imagine what goes through her mind as she captures and prepares those beauties for publication.
