Approaching the first anniversary of my move to San Francisco --moved here a year ago from Denver....doesn't seem that long ago?

 

I am a habitual entrepreneur.

I made the leap and sold my car when I moved to SF - I'm now green. :)

I do belong to a lot of groups on Flickr and yes, I contribute regularly to most of them.

Most of my photography would be considered street photography -- just things I notice on my journey through life, such as:

When I am feeling introspective, I will take pictures of things people wouldn't ordinarily think of, such as smoke:

and I have a relentless fascination with silhouettes:

 

I enjoy doing portraits, both the imaginative:

 

 

as well as the traditional:

 

 

Sometimes I try to stop time:

 

and other times, I'm content to let it pass me by:

 

I love to dance, and take pictures of others dancing:

 

but more than anything, I love taking photographs of people in genuine moments, when they're not posing, and they let their inner beauty shine through:

 

and I do it all as a hobby/passion/obsession.

  

Ever since I moved to San Francisco (I claim it's because it's a very photogenic city), I've been a prolific shutterbug.
