I was introduced to photography when I was 18, by an Army photo journalist who had just returned from the Vietnam War. I became obsessed with this art medium and took a course in photography. From there I read everything I could get my hands on. I continued with my "hobby" and have won some awards and been published early on. I did the requisite wedding photos and portraits for family and friends. Although most of my photos are straight forward, I tend to add the surreal to them. With the advent of PhotoShop and other programs I have been able to explore different avenues of this surrealism to create photo's I used to only see in my mind.
