I've enjoyed photography for 20+ years, photographing mostly family and friends, but occaisionally nature and still life. I worked semi-pro for a while in the TV and Theatre arena photographing sets and performers portfolios.
I've done the whole SLR thing, (carrying bags & boxes of kit around), and I've got fed up with it. I now limit myself to a decent compact or bridge camera, currenty a Canon G7x, I find I have it with me more often than not. I like the challenge of getting the shot I want first time.
I'm not one for messing around with my photos once I've taken them . I don't colour them up etc. What you see, is as it was, except perhaps the odd crop &/or resize. I think that stems back to my 35mm days when you pretty much had to get it right when you shot it.
Please feel free to make any comments on my pic's. If you like them, Great. If you don't, then say why. (but don't be an arsey nit picker). I don't strive for technical perfection and I don't use the latest most expensive kit. It's about how the photographs make me feel and &/or the moments they bring back to mind.
