Welcome to my profile page. Originally a film hobbyist back-in-the-day, I'm indulging my desire to photograph and learn. I've seen a lot of beauty in my life, and wish I'd captured more of it. As they say, never too late. Oh, I'm also into knitting and make-up art.

My current favorite lens is the 50mm f/1.4, but like my photography, it changes. I prefer natural lighting, but use a flash when I have to. I'm also a bit of a photography flake - I will shoot like crazy for months, then put it down for a time to take personal snapshot junk on the fly until I feel like picking it up again.

On a negative note: If you comment or add me as a contact and have none of your own photos available, you'll be blocked. Community is one of Flickr's strengths, and I play to that.

I'm not a big fan of must-comment groups either. I try, but continually fail, to live up to their expectations. If you enjoy my photos and want to invite me to one of these groups, I am flattered and appreciative, but understand I will most likely decline out of respect for the group members who do adhere to the comment-leaving rules.
