I grew up in Union, New Jersey with my grandparents who were my first inspiration. My grandmother, Lischen blessed me with an appreciation and love for all the beautiful gifts bestowed upon us by Mother Nature. My grandfather, Alfred, and his box camera that produced magic photos was my second inspiration. I received my first Kodak camera when I was 10 years old and have been enjoyed taking pictures ever since. I love B&W photography especially printing in a darkroom, which sadly I haven't been able to do in quite some time. Digital is mostly how I shoot these days and love the instant gratification and fun ways images can be manipulated in the photo programs. I also love these photo hosting sites, both to share my pictures and to be inspired by the amazing work I'm constantly discovering.

For the past few years I have been drawn to the natural beauty that Mother Nature has given us and love being able to share that beauty with others. I'm blessed enough to have so much so close I don't have to venture very far to find beauty to capture in hopes of inspiring others.

The photos on Flickr allows me to travel the world, experience other ways of life and meet some of my global brothers and sisters. There is so much good work here. It truly inspires me!
