I am 24 years old and in love with photography. My dream in life is to make photography my life's work. I am currently in the process of learning everything I can about portrait photography and practicing with the ultimate goal being to start my own business doing natural light portraiture, families, children, couples, and eventually weddings and other events (probably not entirely natural light).

All pictures up as of 3/37/11 were taken with either my Cannon Power-shot A10 or my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new Nikon D90 that I ordered which should be here sometime at the end of this week or early next week.

I attribute my love of photography to my dad, who was a hobbyist and loved collecting old cameras. I was surrounded by cameras from a very young age and was also allowed to take my own pictures as well.

I live with my wonderful husband, a rambunctious border collie/ Aussie mix named Penny-Lane, and a black cat named Daisy (after Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby). My hope is that someday my photography will provide us with the funds to travel to far off places.
