Paul is a great photographer who always gets the best out of every photo opportunity. We spent a morning together at the North Shields Fish key recently. When our images were posted I was stuck by how clean, uncomplicated and effective his images were. It was in-fact hard to believe that we had been to the same place. Paul is also a true character with a very dry and wicked sense of humour and for me he is what flickr should be about if he thinks that your image is poor he will tell you why and suggest changes. When he likes what you have done and makes a positive comment then you know it means something. No silly awards here just straight constructive comments that are helpful. Paul’s images collection includes every imaginable subject matter featuring some wonderful abstract works which would look great in any gallery. He has also won awards for his work against tough competition and deservedly so. We will be out again together hopefully soon and I will again be the apprentice (no connection to age) For me this will be something to really look forward too. Keep up the good work Paul
