My passion for making pictures mimics my love for the soul of Argentinean Tango—
a dance that is not a formula of steps, routine, or repeated patterns. Instead it shines with emotional and physical closeness, a daring dialogue between two.
My images portray the subtle dance of photographer and subject, drawing the viewer into an intimate look at a variety of enticing “pieces of life,” that may be ordinary, but my eye is drawn to their mesmerizing detail.
I belong to a local camera club, take workshops every chance I get. Always enamored with learning more.
My Canon Rebel XTi is my mainstay, also have a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-28.
Much of my photography is local-i.e. Skagit County in Washington, and my hometown, Anacortes. I frequently make forays to the eastern part of the state and enjoy capturing the uniqueness of small towns. In more recent years, Mexico has been my winter haunt for capturing the spirit of this wonderful place.
