I am currently enjoying my first full-time job as a Software Tester in Malvern (moved over from Belfast not too long ago), with a very amateurish knowledge of photography. When I got my first digital camera (Christmas 2003, Fujifilm FinePix A205S - not a bad wee model) I was a very much point-and-shoot, I-have-a-digital-camera-so-now-I-am-a-photographer person, but that's not a bad way to start!

I have always enjoyed finding the best angle, lighting, and zoom for each picture I take, but I don't have access to anything fancier than a small digital camera and editing software included both on Windows laptops and on Flickr itself.

My favourite camera has been my Olympus Stylus μ790SW. I currently have a Nikon Coolpix S9200, but never really gelled with it despite having owned it for roughly two years now - the macro function doesn't work as well as on the Olympus and I preferred the backlighting option on the Olympus rather than the Nikon. Think I'll go back to Olympus as soon as possible - perhaps with my first paycheck!
