I started as a birder, so I've been photographing nature, especially birds, for a number of years, although more steadily for the past 15 years or so. My wife and I enjoy traveling for nature photography--Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, the Pantanal, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Iceland, and Antarctica, among others. Previously I was a Canon full frame guy, but now as a concession to aging, I shoot OM. As a volunteer I run photo workshops at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary of NJ Audubon, and I previously served on the NJ Audubon board of directors. Professionally, I'm a retired forensic psychologist. My other photo website is philwitt.smugmug.com/
