Former industrial design student at WIT, just finished my BFA in graphic design at MassArt (2010).

Lenses I currently own:

EF-S 17–55mm f/2.8 IS USM

My new studio and video lens...kinda replaces my 50mm

EF-S 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6 IS

Haven't touched it since I got my second lens

EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

My studio prime

EF 100mm f/2.8 MACRO USM

Intro to Macro, also nice portrait lens

EF 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6L IS USM

Currently my favorite

EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM

Self-explanatory, waiting for the weather to get warmer

Lenses I once owned:

EF-S 10–22mm f/3.5–4.5 USM

Ultra-wide angle lens

Tokina 12–24mm f/4 II

Had AF problems, but nice build quality

EF 70–200mm F4L

Sharp images, but found that I need more reach

EF 24–105mm f/4L IS

My first L lens, decided wasn't worth it on a crop sensor and found I used the extremes of the zoom more often

EF 70–300mm f/4.5–5.6 DO IS USM

My super compact telephoto

Camera:

Just got the:

Canon EOS 7D...it's an effing nice upgrade from the Rebel XSi, which I'm gonna hold onto for now.

Canon EOS Rebel XSi

Others:

Calumet Genesis 200 &times 2

Canon Speedlite 430EX II

Like my philosophy for computers, I'd rather spend more on the lenses than the camera (the monitor would be the lenses in the analogy).

Update: Well, I just bought a $1,700 camera body...which is more expensive than my 100-400mm, but it's still not a 5DmkII or 1D.

Newer Update: Umm, I bought a used EF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM, that's my most expensive single piece of equipment yet...and I'm broke.
