Hi my name is Phillip Adkins I have dual sensory loss this means I have hearing (reg deaf) and visual impaired (reg blind) I have hearing aid because I'm very hard of hearing I was born deaf so if you see me you have to shout at me like my wife do. Then I was registered as partially sighted in march 1999 then in November 2004 I was registered blind I have got retinitis pigmentosa (RP) I can see directly in front of me but not at the sides of me (tunnel vision) and can not see in the dark (night blindness)photography is a challenge for me because I want to have a normal life and access the place in a way sighted people can see and take for granted and with my camera it gives me a key to everything around me and the advantage of digital photography. The photographs i take when i put them on the computer i get so much pleasure from them i am proud of what Ihave taken this is why I joined Flickr to show other contacts my photos and enjoy contacts comment and appreciate your comment and looking forward seeing your picture.Thank you :-)
