I'm not a photographer, I've never played a photographer on TV. But I am a designer and I can tell you that in spite of what Phil might say to the contrary he is a very talented photographer. He has an uncanny sense of both composition and lighting. Every image he posts is a piece of art in the way it captures a story, a moment, and elicits an emotion. He honed his craft by immersing himself in 'competitive' topical captures. More than a great photographer, he's a great designer.
