I've just entered my 50s, and I am from the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, UK. I lived here until I was around 30, and then moved to SE England (London, then St Albans, Herts) until about 10 years ago. I then (lucky person) managed to move back to Anglesey with my family - we have 3 children aged 10, 12, and 13. I'm an engineer who used to work in telecoms research in both academia and the commercial worlds, but for many years I have been self-employed as a consultant helping businesses and academia get the most out of each other.
