Macro photography of indigenous (NZ) insects and flowers is what I like best. Our natural world has always interested me and I am grateful to be blessed with a DSLR and laptop to record what I see. I remember the days of film and 1 hour photo labs dotting our main streets. Started with a Pentax, then Minolta, then Nikon 35mm film - all sold to pay the bills as I moved about. My D5300 will suffice for now, but looking forward to full frame one day. Have a D750 now and looking toward a D850. Why not mirrorless? Have you seen the price of a Z8?
