Philip Lam is a Global IT Analyst working in Call Center for Cisco Systems and part time photographer specialising in landscape, macro (stock), portraiture and wedding photos.

 

Having spent over 10 years on his old 35mm Canon SLR, later get into digital world in 1995 and got the Sony Mavica CD1000 camera and went to New Zealand to take his first digital photos.

 

Acquired his first Canon EOS 10D DSLR beginning of 2002 with a EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens

 

Moving towards to some professional Canon L Lenses and purchased the Canon EOS 5D recently with EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM, and also his previously owned lenses such as the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 II, Sigma 20mm f/1.8 EX DG and Canon Speedlite 580EX II.

 

He had experience with Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01, DMC-TZ3GK, Canon PowerShot Pro 1, HTC-HD2, Samsung i9100, Samsung N7100, Canon DSLR EOS 10D, 20D and 5D

 

He has been spending his spare time on sharing some skills with his fellow friends and professional photographers.

 

Philip exhibited his best photos in Australian National Maritime Museum in 2004 and also shares his photos with his close friends and posted some of them on some photography forum websites.

 

He also experiment with all sorts of technique to achieve the end results that he wants. (but admittedly prefers the steady paycheck of commercial work one day).

 

Philip finally sold some of his best photo of Tulips (framed) to many of his fan in Sydney, Hong Kong, China and US.

 

He is fortunate enough married to a lovely girl from Beijing also a photographer, both love photography and graphic editing; together they want to startup a photography business in digital photography.
