Greetings, in the non-internet world I am known as Philip Todd.

I am technology enthusiast, currently working as a electronic security technician for an alarm dealer. and moonlighting as a computer consultant. My job duties consist of talking to customers about their problems, designing and installing next-gen megapixel surveillance networks, designing and implementing enterprise level door control systems, designing and implementing computer networks and network security hardware, and basically any task or job too technical or complicated for the rest of the team. Hobby of choice - photography, camera of choice - canon, computer of choice - Macbook Pro, second computer of choice - Dell Lattitude E6510.

I was born in Florida 25 years ago, but I have lived in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia (near Harrisonburg) for most of my life. In this area, we are completely surrounded by mountains and rolling hills thus providing many photo opportunities. In this particular area, we are behind the times technologically - but that's OK most of the time. Around these parts, life comes at a relaxing or easygoing pace, not fast and in your face as many city-dwellers have become accustomed to. There is beauty in simple things all around, beauty that cannot be noticed or appreciated in a fast-paced society.

My favorite subjects are wide landscapes, water - water anything (waterfalls, rivers, rain, raindrops, etc..), tight macros, light / shadow, and star trails.
