Late 30's, into walking, wildlife, psychology, rediscovering photography after dysfunctional relationship with previous camera's including:

80's Chinon SLR with powerwinder so loud it scared subjects human and animal.

Konica SLR with major redeye issues (couldn't angle flash to bounce off ceiling)

Kodak APS - disappointing picture quality - wish I'd got an Olympus XA4 fantastic compact..

Now trying to cultivate a positive mental attitude hence cheap and cheerful start to digital photography with a compact Fuji (5.1Mp) Finepix A510 (ebay bargain of £25) before going for the serious stuff. Further photos to follow. I now have a Canon 400D and the pictures have suddenly got sharper..
