My main photography activity is taking food pictures at the James Beard Foundation dinners at the Beard House at 12th St and 7th Ave in Manhattan.

It's an interesting sort of food photography because there are no studio accoutrements -- the kitchen is cramped, crowded, high-pressure, and all shots are handheld and "live". Still, it's a wonderful experience to watch great chefs at work -- and I get to eat the food!
